Gale Prol, Chapter Vice President, came to Tucson from Maryland in 2000 with experience as a Home Tutor for her local school district working with many "at risk" kids and, as it turned out, students at home due to lack of understanding for their disabilities including autism. Upon arriving in Tucson, she contacted this ASA chapter and began working in Habilitation for families with children with autism.
She is currently a Behavior Specialist for A Place to Call Home,
foster care and adoption agency providing children and adults with developmental disabilities with safe home environments and a multitude of services including behavior programming for children with autism.
She is currently pursing a Masters in Special Education with Positive Behavior Support Certification through Northern Arizona University.
