Kay is an advocate for the development and delivery of services and resources to assist families impacted by both Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. Kay is dedicated to increasing autism awareness, access to services to families including affordable education and training for parents, professionals and school districts within Southern Arizona . She is committed to being actively involved to increase ASA-PCC membership, corporate sponsorship and fund-raising to meet these goals.
Kay currently serves on the Board of Directors of the ASA-PCC, and on the Steering Committee for Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center (SARRC) within Arizona. She is also a member of Woman at the Top, a group of female business and community leaders.
Kay has held professional positions as a regional accountant with Coopers & Lybrand, Ernst & Young, BDM Technologies and Verio, Inc., in Denver, Colorado and was actively involved in several community service groups. Kay has served on several business/industry boards and commissions including officer position.
Kay is married with three children and one grandchild and has lived in Tucson for 2 years. Husband, Joe, daughter Alyssa, 21, son Jacob, 9, who was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome at age 6, daughter Sammy, 5 and granddaughter, Olivia.
